This book is dummy proof! It gives you so many options to improve yourself inside and out. I use to do strength and condition under his old program ( Gym Jones) back home in Texas. I went to a seminar or two of his and I enjoyed the energy and the amazing competitive spirit. Even though I wasn't the top person there you felt accomplished after a work out.So when I had the opportunity to buy this book I took it. I have been doing the 12 week program within the book for a week now and I am addicted. The feeling is just like being back home competing with my buddies. There are so many options Bobby gives you to substitute ( modify ) movements and even a step by step gallery of pictures to make sure you get it right. He even has goals for you to aim for and yes at first they may seem imposable, but they are real times people have set and some surpassed ( I've seen it). I cant wait to see how much I improve over these 12 weeks.** ITS ALL UP TO YOU *** a book isn't going to wake you up and get you out of bed.comment or ask me any questions! I totally recommend the book!

Well-written. Bobby Maximus (real name Rob MacDonald) is a stud. His methods are stringent and tough. His workouts are unique. I found them just a touch more brutal than I was looking for. I'll try a few and like reading his blogs and this book.Give it a shot. It deserves a place on your bookshelf. You don't need to go to this degree to get in good shape. But, if you want to add some variety to your workouts his ideas are fresh. Just a touch more demanding than this 51 year old guy wants to bite off and chew on a regular basis.

Aside from this guy being a consummate professional, knowledgable teacher, and balls-to-the-wall trainer, he teaches lessons about mindset that really resonate. My personal favorite is called GREEN LIGHT THOUGHTS. Whenever you're getting yourself down, or when you hear that voice in your head telling you to quit on that 1000m row challenge, you think a "green light thought": I got this. I can do this. I won't quit.That has been a saving grace concept in and out of the gym. Also, there are like hundreds of workout in this book.I love this book.

This book is Great- From the in depth of how Bobby has come up from his first days to what he has built today.If you are looking for a functional and specific way to train this book will help you plan your workouts and training. Love the style of how it was put together and written.

A lot of useful information but the formatting, at least on kindle, is not easy to navigate. To build a workout, you have to look at pages in different sections to make a complete workout. Workouts are not put together for you. You have to build the puzzle. Wasn’t looking for something i would have to format in Word or another workout application.

This book has amazing no nonsense, proven advice to become fitter and stronger than you ever thought possible. There is also great advice to get mentally strong enough to get yourself prepared to work hard in and out of the gym. Plus the nutrition section is simple yet effective.

I’m no athlete, but that’s why I bough this book. The combined expertise of these 2 fitness authorities will help propel anyone (especially me) with the right mindset to a level of fitness that you never thought possible. I have utilized the recovery and injury prevention parts of this book the most so far. Because I’m getting old... relatively speaking of course.

Tremendous book on getting not only into shape but getting into the best shape of your life. Even if you have spent most of your lift working out. The mental approach that he gives makes the price of the book worth it. The workouts are hard but worth it if you want to be in overall tremendous condition.
